DO YOU KNOW ABOUT OUR SISTER COMPANY?

Many of you have noticed when you call our office that we answer the phone “ScrapMap” and “Sew Many Places.”  Both of these companies are sister companies under the Travel Alliance, Inc. corporation.

If you have a moment, why not check out our quilting company and see if any of these trips interest you.  You don’t have to quilt to join the fun, and we are traveling all over the world with a lot of creative people.

Check it out:  www.SewManyPlaces.com

Thanks!

HEIDI CHINA……8 SPOTS LEFT!!

Hi everyone:

Jaci told me we only have 8 spots left on Heidi Swapp’s China tour for this coming fall.  If you are interested in joining us for this exotic adventure, be sure you call our office very soon.

I promise you, this is one trip you will be talking about the rest of your life.  I travel to China twice a year with groups, and I can tell you firsthand, it’s as incredible as you think it is going to be.

Hope you can join us!

ALASKA HERE WE COME!!!!

It is just a matter of days before Steve and I head to Seattle for the beginning of our Scrapbooking Adventure with Tim Holtz.  Boxes have been packed and shipped, the reservations are all confirmed, and we have a FANTASTIC group of people who are joining us.

I’ll be blogging every day, so if you want to know what we are up to each day, be sure you are checking back here.

Can’t wait!

Jim

PARLEZ VOUS FRANCAIS?

Ok, I don’t even know if I spelled that correctly, since I only took a semester of French in high school, now 30 years ago, but it’s time to talk Paris!

Based on a lot of positive feedback about us planning a trip to Paris for scrapbookers, we are making the announcement for that trip in two weeks.  The trip will be next June, and we will be exploring Paris, the Palace of Versailles, the gardens of Monet, and seeing some spectacular sights during this one week trip.

Watch for details, we are only taking 40 people with us, and then we start the waitlist.

Merci! Merci!

WINNER ANNOUNCED ON MONDAY!!!!

The winner of the $50 gas card will be announced this coming Monday!  If you haven’t already commented about our Scrapbook Explorer’s Club Jamboree, please take a moment to do so, and you will be entered in the drawing for the prize.

Good Luck!

Your feedback please!

As many of you know, we are launching our Scrapbook Explorer’s Club this year, with the website launching at CHA this summer, our newsletter and membership available this fall and all our Jamboree’s happening next year.  You can read more about the Jamboree and Scrapbook Explorer’s Club by clicking the button on our ScrapMap homepage. As we design our Jamboree’s, which will be an entirely ”family” oriented event, I am interested in knowing what you think about the following:

Do you think we should have 10-12 Jamborees set up across the U.S. and Canada in major cities or do you think we should focus on 5 specific regions and host the events there, thinking people will travel long distrances to come?

Do you think it is more important to have hundreds of vendors and make it a mega event or concentrate on only 45 vendors and stores per Jamboree and keep the event small and intimate?

All children get into the Jamboree free of charge, do you think adults (mom and dad) can afford $10 each to pay to come into the event?  Is this price too high or too low or just about right?

Do you think our Jamboree should be an all day Saturday event, or do we need to make it a two day, Sat and Sun event?

Finally, since no other company has anything like this going on, would you actually show up at a Jamboree if one was near your town?

If you take a moment to comment on any or all of these your name will go into a hat for our $50.00 gas card giveaway.  I’ll be announcing the winner in two weeks!

Thanks for participating!  I appreciate it.

$50.00 GAS CARD GIVEAWAY

Hi everyone-

Tomorrow I will be asking you for your opinion on a couple things, and if you take a moment to comment, your name will go in for a drawing for a $50.00 gas card.

Don’t tell Jaci, but I am also throwing in a couple other things as well.  :)

Until tomorrow………………

AND THE WINNER IS…………………..

We took everyone’s name who commented on the question I had asked last week, and put those names into a hat (well actually a bowl) and the name I drew was…………………………drum roll please…………………..Coleen B!!!!! Congratulations Coleen.  We will be sending you a totebag full of goodies tomorrow, so you should receive them by the end of the week.

I want to thank all of you for commenting on our question.  The conclusions I’ve drawn is that about half of you don’t mind paying more to learn from a celebrity, and the other half would rather spend less for your trip and learn from each other or the non-celebrity teacher.  All in all, it’s good to know this.

I like the idea of giving away gifts on this blog, so be watching on Wednesday, I’ll have a new opportunity for you to qualify to win something else.  And I know exactly what it is that I am going to be giving out-a gift certificate to put gas in your car!!!!!

I think everyone can use that one!

By the way, we will be announcing our Paris trip on Friday, so be sure you check in and get the info on that trip.  You won’t believe the price!!!

Jim

GIVEAWAY WINNER ANNOUNCED TOMORROW!

Today is your last day to comment on our Giveaway.  I will be announcing the winner tomorrow, and sending out our special totebag of goodies to the name of the person I pull out of the hat, from those who participated.

Good luck!
